Key Conclusions

• Concrete piping systems provide significantly
  more jobs across the value chain, compared with
  HDPE and GRP
• Concrete pipes has the lowest installed cost 66
  of the cost of GRP/HDPE for smaller diameters and
  60 of the cost of competing systems for larger
  diameters
• Concrete pipes use only locally produced raw
  materials GRP is heavily dependent on imported
  material
