related to the leaves?

• You might notice 2 things.
• The number of leaves it takes to go from any
  given leaf to the next one similarly paced on the
  stem
• The number of revolutions as one follows the
  leaves in going from one leaf to another on
  similarly placed

What does this really mean? If the leaf
arrangement if 3/8 then it takes 3 revolutions
and 8 leaves to arrive at the next leaf similarly
placed This is called PHYLLOTAXIS
