NWDA prepares the following types of reports
Water Balance ReportsThese estimate demands and
availability at salient points Pre-feasibility
Reports These make a desk study of the
proposal. Feasibility Reports These improve the
studies after surveys, soil and foundation
investigations, preliminary designs, etc.
Economics , environmental impacts, etc. are also
studied.

EXSISTING INTERBASIN TRANFERS
  • USA, CANADA, MEXICO, SRI LANKA,
  • CHINA, KAZAKISTAN, and INDIA
  • are some of the countries who have
    implemented interbasin transfers.
  • These,by 1978, were transferring more than
  • 300 km3, annually.
