Tribulation

• Matthew 2421-22 For then shall be great
  tribulation, such as was not since the beginning
  of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
  And except those days should be shortened, there
  should no flesh be saved but for the elect's
  sake those days shall be shortened.

Why The Tribulation?

• To fulfill prophecy (Daniel 9)
• To finally annul the authority of Satan, who
  usurped control of the earth from Adam (Rev. 5)
• To judge all those on the earth who oppose God
  and His Gospel, in preparation for the 1000
  (millennium) year reign of Christ on the earth.
