Description: Eye of the Pacific Guide Dogs and Mobility Services, Inc. was organized in 1955. We are a volunteer, non-profit, non-sectarian organization that fills a vital need by providing quality trained dogs and electronic sensor aids to be the eyes of blind residents of Hawaii. Guide dogs of exceptional quality are imported from Australia and New Zealand, which are rabies free, thus bypassing problems caused by Hawaii's strict animal quarantine laws. In addition to the gift of a free guide dog, our program includes professional guide dog and guide team training.
