Problem Statement
  • New Hampshire Dance Institute needed a new
    marketing look for their non-profit organization.
    They needed materials that would present their
    program in such a way that individuals and
    companies would want to contribute funds.

Objectives
  • Gather information about NHDI and their program.
  • Create a promotional package for NHDI to present
    to companies
  • Create a new logo
  • Create an updated brochure

Methodology
  • We researched NHDI thoroughly by answering
    specific questions provided by our faculty
    advisor.
  • All of the team members attended at least one
    NHDI class to observe the NHDI program in action.
  • Then, we broke into two groups, the graphic team
    and the text team.
  • The graphic team worked on creating a new logo
    while the writing team worked on writing the text
    for the brochure.

Methodology Cont.
  • The group then presented all the ideas at an NHDI
    board meeting for input from board members.
  • We presented brochure cuts, 3 different
    stationary samples, wording for the brochure,
    testimonials, and pictures
  • All of this information provided us with what we
    needed to create our final product.

  • Material created will be used in the near future
    to reach potential donors.
  • NHDI will use the new logo that we will create.
  • All stakeholders will provide ample input for
    materials created.

Discussion
  • We designed this brochure specifically to help
    fulfill NHDI goals for fundraising by using a
    well designed and executed brochure.
  • They wanted something fun and eye catching. We
    gave them a selection of three different color
    schemes, and they chose the purple and orange.
  • We created an eye catching half moon cut in the
    brochure that will set NHDIs brochure apart from
    other brochures.

Conclusion
  • All promotional material was presented to the
    board and received their approval.
  • The board values our work they demonstrated this
    by applying for a grant that would provide funds
    to print the materials we have created.

Recommendations
  • NHDI should implement the material created by the
    SBA team
  • NHDI should evaluate the material after a one
    year period
  • NHDI should continue to test new ideas
