Miss Hanby

• Graduated from Cabrini College with a Bachelors
  Degree in Communications
• Received Masters Degree in Elementary Education
  from Wilmington College
• Student taught at Conowingo in 2nd grade with
  Mrs. Patrick.
• Fifth year of teaching. I was the third grade
  special education teacher my first two years.
• The schools yearbook chairperson.
• Hobbies Photography, Reading, and Shopping!

Mrs. Kelly

• Graduated from University of Delaware with a
  Bachelors in Elementary Education.
• Received Masters degree in Language Arts.
• Taught at Calvert Elementary for 11 years.
• Took seven years off when son was born.
• Have been teaching at Conowingo for 20 years.
• Have taught a variety of grades Split 1/2 Grade
  1 Grade 2 Split 2/3 Grade 3.

Mrs. Patrick

• Years of teaching experience This is my 26th
  year.
• Most of those years have been in second grade and
  Ive always taught at Conowingo.
• Graduated from Rising Sun High School
• Both my children attended Conowingo Elementary
  and I was their 4th grade teacher.
• Two children Daughter is a Junior at Penn State
  and Son graduated from the University of
  Maryland.
• I also like to run. In October Ill be running a
  Marathon (26.5 miles) in Scranton, PA.

Mrs. Perry

• Graduated from Towson University with a Bachelors
  Degree in Elementary Education in May 2003.
• This is Mrs. Perrys 8th year teaching at
  Conowingo Elementary School.
• Taught 4th grade for five years.
• In third year of teaching 2nd grade.
• Has 3 sons- Logan is 4 and twins Jason and Connor
  turn 2 on Saturday.

Mrs. Hanlon

• I graduated from the University of Delaware with
  a degree in Special Education.
• This is my 33rd year of teaching.
• Ive taught pre-K to 6th grade.
• I have 2 children- my son attends Goldy Beacom
  college and my daughter teaches 2nd grade
  children with special needs in Atlanta, Georgia.
• I love to ride my bike, and will ride a 150 mile
  ride on October 2nd and 3rd.

• Daily Guided Reading Sessions
• Focus on reading strategies, vocabulary and
  comprehension
• Word Study Phonics, Spelling, Vocabulary
• Writing Graphic Organizers, Rough Draft, Edit
  Revise, Publish.

Spelling HW

• Spelling homework is to be completed in the
  Spelling Journal (Composition Book) every night.
• Working on introducing Spelling Tic-Tac-Toe
• Thursday nights spelling homework is always a
  Parent Signed Practice Test.
