We have looked in detail at ink transfer and
radiation methodologies. But as you can see
there are other mechanical methodologies for
nanostructuring surfaces, which
involve (i) Nano-positioning Pushing/Picking
up atoms/molecules around a surface with a
scanning probe microscope (AFM/STM) (ii) Nano-in
dentation Pushing an AFM tip into a surface to
make a crater or scratching the surface by
dragging the tip allong the substrate
surface. (iii) Nano-shaving Removing a SAM by
dragging the AFP tip through the SAM
