ADMISSIONS If you have been a student at
Savannah Tech before and are returning after some
time away, you are a READMIT STUDENT and youll
need to stop into Student Affairs to update your
records and be sure youve done all the things
necessary to be able to register If you have
ever attended another college or university, you
are a TRANSFER STUDENT. You will need to have
all official transcripts sent to us for
evaluation against the major/program of study you
are pursuing here and be sure youve done all the
things necessary to be able to register. If you
are looking to take classes here and return to
your home college, you are a TRANSIENT STUDENT.

FINANCIAL AID We encourage everyone to complete
the FAFSA online 4-6 weeks before you intend to
enroll. If you need help completing the
financial aid application or have questions about
financing your education, stop by our Student
Affairs Office or call 912.443.5515. These
programs are available for Georgia residents and
cover tuition, most fees and provides a book
allowance. HOPE SCHOLARSHIP for eligible
associate degree students (graduate of GA high
school after 1990 with 3.0 GPA or earned
eligibility as an adult student) HOPE GRANT
for eligible certificate and diploma students (GA
resident, not in default on student loan no
felony convictions and drug-free.) VA,
third-party payments and scholarships are also
available.

SATISFACTORY ACADEMIC PROGRESS We want you to
be successful in your academic endeavors. So it
is important that you meet specific academic
standards to progress each quarter. If you do
not, you are at risk for academic and/or
financial aid suspension. See our website for

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT Savannah Technical
College operates on the quarter system, with
classes beginning in January, April, July and
October. The first time you register, you will
see an enrollment counselor or advisor after
that, you can register online or continue to see
your advisor. Youll be referred to your advisor
when you complete this orientation session.
Many students have financial aid to assist in
their college expenses. We take payment in the
form of cash, personal check/debit card with
proper identification, credit cards and third
party payments .

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT There is a 35
instructional technology fee that must be paid
every quarter. If you choose, you can authorize
the college to pay this fee using your HOPE book
allowance by signing a one-time waiver. (click
here for the waiver form) PAYMENT MUST BE MADE
IN FULL BY THE THIRD BUSINESS DAY OF THE QUARTER
TO MAINTAIN YOUR ENROLLMENT AND KEEP YOUR CLASS
SCHEDULE. If your class is starting on a
date other than the start of the quarter, you
must be paid in full (cash, financial aid or
third-party) BEFORE the first day of class to
maintain your enrollment and keep your class
schedule.

the ONLINE COURSE LOGIN button or the BANNER
link in the yellow at the bottom of the
page. Youll login to our secure server to
update your records, see your grades each
quarter, register for classes and view your
unofficial transcript. You will set your PIN
the first time you login.

students find that our online classes are a more
convenient option. We offer classes that are
completely online and some that are hybrid or
web-enhanced, meaning that they are a blend of
classroom and online learning. We work through
the ANGEL portal. You can access information and
instructions for ANGEL through the ONLINE COURSE
LOGIN button on the home page.
