What students are saying about Study Abroad to
Nice/Paris
  • The course/trip to France really was the best
thing I have ever done. Although I had a couple
of years of French in high school, it was really
great to get a review and continue on with my
knowledge of the language. Not only that, but at
least attempting to speak the language in France
with locals was something incomparable to
anything else. I thought it was great that we had
a couple weeks of class before we left to really
focus on the language. I can't wait to go back to
University of Miami and continue on with French
    3. This course has confirmed my thoughts of
wanting to pursue a minor in it. Carey G.
  • I loved this trip. Nice was absolutely beautiful
and I loved it! The people in the group were
great and I am very glad I could meet them and
make some new great friends. Honestly, the things
I liked the most were the food and the culture in
Nice. I could live like that everyday. Dominic
    S.
  • I thought that this was a great class and an
overall amazing experience. It is so much more
practical to learn a language through experience
rather than out of a book. I really feel like we
made the most out of our trip. I can't wait to go
back to France and know how to get around and
converse with people... by myself!Leah S.
  • This French 2 class has allowed me to accomplish
so many things I thought I would never be able to
do. Taking a chance to go to Europe not knowing
anyone was scary, but it has been the best thing
I have ever done. Being immersed in the french
language for 2 weeks has really expanded my
french skills. I not only gained knowledge but
life time memories and some life time friends.
