Title: Uniboard programming and using PICAXE

Uni-board programming and using PICAXE
  • A Presentation

  • It all started with an excursion to Balwyn High
to create our uni-boards. We soldered and
connected all the parts we were given to form our
uni-boards. To help us were some year 9 students
and some teachers, and they taught us how to
solder and assemble the pieces together. This
part was probably the most enjoyable.
  • After the completion of the boards, we left the
school. A month or so later, we were in an
enrichment educating us about how to program our
uni-boards to create the different light programs
and small monophonic music, as shown in the
background. This would have been the time when we
were most eager to try out the different
abilities and available accessories of the
    uni-boards.

  • Such things were programs in Picaxe like
    this.
  • This in the background is a tune wizard for the
  • uni-board. Though the music is only
  • monophonic, it was still enjoyable to
  • experience composing our own
  • songs. Some are already made for us. All we had
  • to do was program it on to the board and there
  • it was!

Altogether, the creation and programming of our
uni-boards was a thoroughly enjoyable experience,
that gave us a deeper insight into technology.
On behalf of those who took participation in this
program, we would like to thank all those who
helped in this.
Thank You.
