    vital element

    learning experiences

Our VLE
  • Virtual Learning Environment (VLE)
  • We currently use WebCT
  • About 95 of taught modules have a WebCT presence
  • Mainly used for students to download documents
    from lectures and supporting materials
  • Capable of much more but there are some pockets
of excellent use here at YSJU
  • Were upgrading to Blackboard over Summer!

Conclusion
  • e-Learning is diverse, its not just sitting at a
    PC learning online
  • Technology is constantly changing and evolving,
so are our students and so must we
