other projects and organizations that operate on
many of the same platforms. Together theyll
provide a response capability, as well as build a
knowledge base of information on how to address
technical issues and challenges.

Departments are just a way to route your ticket
to the best set of individuals who can help. For
this project, you will most likely want to select
BMG 5-in-1 or FVI DATA.
7
After selecting a department, youll then just
fill in some information through a web form. Be
sure to include the security code. Once youve
filled in the form, submit the ticket by pressing
the Submit button.

After submitting your ticket, you will be given
and ID number. You will also receive an e-mail
confirmation of the ticket, as well as any
dialogue or status updates (responses) resulting
from your ticket. Be sure to keep the Ticket ID

Common Operating Mistakes and Problems
  • Icon in the task bar remains red for a long
    period of time.
  • Many files corrupted.
  • Unable to start the WorldSpace Client Services.

12
Antenna Position
  • Most problems and requests for assistance
associated with the RANET broadcast result from
    poor antenna placement.
  • Remember that the antenna can not see the
satellite through concrete, glass, metal, or
    large vegetation.
  • Similarly, human bodies block the signal, so it
is highly recommended that the antenna be placed
    7 feet above the ground.
