• Minimum entry level
• Swim across the pool without touching the side,
  bottom, or rope
• Goal
• Understand rules regulations of the 4
  competitive strokes

Tuna

• Minimum entry level
• Successfully swim one length of the pool (25m) in
  3 of the 4 competitive strokes with no
  disqualifications
• Goal
• Gain basic of knowledge of stroke technique to
  improve times

Barracuda

• Minimum entry level
• Qualifying times in at least 2 of the 4
  competitive strokes
• Goal
• Improve times in all 4 competitive strokes based
  on individual goals.

Shark

• Minimum entry level
• Qualifying times in all of the 4 competitive
  strokes
• Goal
• Set personal achievement goals and work with
  coaches to develop Personal Improvement Plan in
  order to become a well rounded swimmer capable of
  independent practice
