• Purpose Member libraries cooperate to enhance
  information services through resource sharing,
  collective purchasing, document delivery and many
  other similar activities
• 20 University library systems
• Oldest and largest established in 1827
• 60,000 students
• Newest smallest established in 2003
• 900 students.

• a collection of content and a set of integrated
  services to allow researchers to BROWSE, SEARCH,
  SAVE and REQUEST scholarly articles in a uniform
  way, regardless of the publisher or the source of
  the resource

• Over 9.5 milllion articles from over 7,500
  journals
• Backfile collections take coverage back to the
  1800s for many journals
• Aggregate searching - Combined with more than 100
  million article citations from major abstracting
  and indexing databases under a local installation
  of CSAs Illumina search engine
• 15 million articles downloaded since 2002
