Food Diaries Conclusions
  • Insufficient amount and variety of fruits and
    veg.
  • Fruit and veg. often fruit juice and fried

  • High fast food and fried food consumption
  • Eating alone very frequently
  • Food is important to kids!!! They value the
    social connections that surround it, taste and
    choice and relate food to many facets of identity
  • Nutrition education and school based-research can
    be conducted in a way that supports teachers core
    content objectives and fosters life skills.
