• In preparing for Report Night you and your staff
  (SIT, Guidance counselor, Dept Chairs, Coaches,
  etc.) need to
• Think about Big Questions
• Gather your data to answer these questions
• Prepare your presentation

The Big Questions

• Can we explain our schools NECAP performance,
  NCLB classification and school report card?
• Do we know what our strong points are and the
  areas needing extra support at each grade?
• Do we know our trends over time? Are we
  improving?
• What are the priorities in our POP plan?
• Why where they chosen?
• Can we identify the key strategies
• What did we learn from our most recent SALT
  survey?

• Review all types of data presented in previous
  slides and look for trends of improvement
• What is your theory for why the improvement is
  happening
• If you find declines, explain what steps you are
  taking to turn around the trend
