• Non-profits, schools, and public entities can
  apply
• 1st Deadline 1/22/07, Awards 3/07
• 2nd Deadline 4/1/07, Awards 5/07

How To Write A Successful Application

• Address one or both priority areas
• Identify clear target population(s), and your
  connection to this community
• Demonstrate organizational capacity and
  leadership
• Identify clear, measurable results given your
  proposed timeframe
• Base your proposal on research

Your proposal should include

• Application cover page with contact information
• Proposal of no more than 7 typed pages, which
  includes
• Narrative (up to 5 pages)
• One-page budget
• One-page budget narrative
• Any additional letters of support or
  collaboration
