What is the DCFA Ottery Development centre?
  • The purpose of Ottery is to allow players to have
    the opportunity to access a high quality coaching
    environment in order to allow them to fulfil
    their maximum potential it helps to bridge the
    gap between club football and Centres of
    Excellence.
  • The centre operates for boys aged 10-15 years
    with 3 squads (U11, U13 U15)
  • The centre will deliver 2 10 week training
    blocks.

Who are the Devon FA?
  • The Devon FA is one of 45 County Associations
    that administer the game on a local level on
    behalf of the FA.
  • All clubs and Leagues within the County affiliate
    as do all referees this centre also affiliates
    to the CFA. All County Cups are run via the
    County office. The County also run a number of
    representative sides
  • The county HQ is in Newton Abbot
  • There are 2 distinct departments Football
    Development and Governance.
  • The Football Development Dept manage and operate
    the Ottery Football Development Centre

Timings
  • U11 6pm to 730pm
  • U13 U15 630pm to 8pm
  • All GKs will attend on their respective Age group
    times
  • Fixtures will be confirmed

Finance
  • Players are asked to pay 135 per season. There
    are a number of payment options open to parents.
    Please ensure you return your payment schedule
    form this evening.

Fixtures
  • We are looking to have an internal fixture
    programme with a fixture being planned every 5
    weeks there will be a fixture at the end of the
    20 week coaching block hopefully Barnstaple!
  • Communication will be issued via players and will
    be posted on the www.devonfa.com website
  • Letters will be minimal

Kit
  • Boys are expected to wear white socks, shorts and
    shin pads and suitable footwear for training
  • The tee shirt is included as part of your 135
    fee
  • When we have sample sizes the boys will then try
    them on before any order is placed
