Comfort Removed
  • When the eaglet is about three months old and
eighty percent of its full weight, the mother
begins to push it out of the nest

Our Comfort Zone

    is with your comfort.

4
Think Forward
  • Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you
face trials of many kinds. James 12 NIV

5
Booted Out

    can fly.

6
Catch This!

right his ears are open to their cries for help.
    Ps. 3415

Hard to Understand
  • God is above and beyond us, and we will never
fully understand His ways this side of heaven.
  • For our God is in the heavens, and he does as he
    wishes. Ps. 1153
  • Who is able to advise the Spirit of the LORD? Who
knows enough to be his teacher or counselor?
    Isa. 4013

9
  • Gods ways are holy and right even when we dont
    understand them.
  • O God, your ways are holy. Is there any god as
    mighty as you? Ps. 7713
  • I will proclaim the name of the LORD how
glorious is our God! 4 He is the Rock his work
is perfect. Everything he does is just and fair.
He is a faithful God who does no wrong how just
and upright he is! Deuteronomy 323,4

10
  • God is trustworthy, even when we cant see the
    path before us.
  • 11For I know the plans I have for you, says the
LORD. They are plans for good and not for
disaster, to give you a future and a hope. 12In
those days when you pray, I will listen. 13If you
look for me in earnest, you will find me when you
seek me. 14I will be found by you, says the
    LORD.

11
Battle Storms
  • We ask Why?
  • I pour out my complaints before him and tell him
    all my troubles. Ps. 1422
  • We ask for the storm to stop!
  • He went on a little farther and fell face down on
the ground, praying, My Father! If it is
possible, let this cup of suffering be taken away
    from me.... Mt. 2639

12
  • We worry that God has forsaken us.
  • At about three oclock, Jesus called out with a
loud voice, Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani? which
means, My God, my God, why have you forsaken
    me?

his throne and talk with him there. Job 233

13
BIG Picture

happeningit is painful! But afterward there will
be a quiet harvest of right living for those who
are trained in this way. Heb. 1211

(more like Jesus) when youve gotten through your
    storm.

    fly.
