Problem of the story.

• The problem is Joey thought grandma was a bad
  influence for them.
• At the fair, grandma and Rupert Pennypacker both
  made gooseberry pie and grandma lied about
  wining.

How the problem was resolved

• Grandma switched the pies cards to help her
  win. Her plan backfired because Rupert
  Pennypacker won but it was grandmas pie.

• After she lost, she lied about winning .
• The prize was an airplane ride.
• She wanted the airplane ride.
• She pretended she wanted the ride but she was to
  big. Then she gave the ride to Joey.
• At the end Joey realized that she was a better
  person. She lied but she meant well.

• They started to see good things in their grandma.
  She started to think of other people besides
  herself.

• On the way up Joey started to realize that
  grandma was beginning to be a better influence on
  the children and that she started to think of
  other people other than herself we think that she
  is becoming more nice to the kids and other
  people.
