• The port gives work to 60000 people in Rotterdam.
• The tonnage is 328 million ton.
• Most of the transported products are petrol.
• Its a very important port! Lots of products are
  processed in the port itself like oil. Therere
  many products transported to European countries
  overseas and also to the VS and other far
  countries in the world.
• Most of the ships in Rotterdam are containerships
  (and of course the Spido ?)

Le Havre

• Le Havre is the second port of France. Its a
  important port because the location is very good
  and its the first place where large ships can
  berth in that area.
• Le Havre is very important for Europe and
  America.
• One ship mostly caries about 250000 ton.
• Most of the ships are bulkships, tankers (oil)
  and containerships.

Antwerp

• Every year sail 16000 ships of 100 different
  countries into the port of Antwerp.
• In the port come mostly containerships. Every
  container caries between 40 and 70 ton.

Marseille

• The port of Marseille has a good position for
  transports and traffics. Marseille is the first
  port in French.
• Marseille is a big port for traveling, the
  transport of petrol and the import of fruit. (and
  tourists ?)
• Therere also lots of containers in Marseille.

Conclusion

• These four port are all very important for their
  countries and for the rest of Europe.
• There come mostly container and petrolships into
  the ports.
• In Marseille come more tourists then in the other
  ports.
