    pupils by

    concerns and taking action

E-Safety Strategy
  • Kirklees Safeguarding Children Board have a
    specific e-safety strategy
  • This comes under their remit of communicating
the need to safeguard and promote the welfare of
    children.
  • It is important to have the strategy as the
advancing digital world is having an impact on
the welfare of children and young people.
  • The strategy includes raising awareness in adults
and children and equipping them to identify risk,
respond appropriately and yet enabling them to
safely embrace the opportunities of the digital
    world.

If you have concerns what do you do?
  • Each school has a Safeguarding (Child Protection
    Policy)
  • Each school has a Designated Senior Person for
    Safeguarding (Child Protection)
  • You need to know who that person is so if you
have concerns about individual children you must
pass them on to the above named person.
