Stakeholders will collaborate within and across
sectors to create the California Energy
Efficiency Statewide Strategic Plan.

• KEY POINTS
• Joint collaboration of foundational and
  cross-cutting groups
• Each sector group contains members of the CPUC,
  IOUs, Conveners, and Stakeholders
• Cross-sector groups such as MEO, will address
  broad reaching topics that are not confined to
  one sector and will also provide valuable input
  to the Strategic Plan
• Necessary inputs are accounted for during the
  creation of the plan
• Multiple workshops held for each sector, led by
  conveners with strong participation from other
  groups

taking place to successfully create the plan.

• Hold regularly scheduled conference calls

• Writers receive input reports from sector groups
  and create consolidated plan
• Integrative workshops and meeting of sector
  groups provide feedback on drafts

• IOUs submit final joint strategic plan, appending
  a summary of stakeholder comments on May 15, 2008
• Each IOU submits an individual 2009-2011 Energy
  Efficiency Portfolio on May 15, 2008

• Submit Draft Joint Strategic Plan on February 1,
  2008
• Hold IOU-convened public workshops to collect
  comments on posted Draft Strategic Plan

the scope, schedule and tasks required.

In November and December, workshops will be held
for each sector with sub-committee breakouts to
collect and refine a broad set of ideas into a
focused summary.

Workshop 3
Workshop 1 builds on the initial breakout
session on November 5. Ideas and topics are
collected for further discussion.
Workshop 2 reconvenes the smaller sub-committees
to present their findings and to discuss new
topics as relevant.
Workshop 3 is the final meeting to review and
confirm results, as well as prepare findings for
the writing committee.

to the CPUC by February 1, 2008.

February through May, IOUs will convene public
workshops to collect additional feedback on the
draft strategic plan. The IOUs will submit a
final joint strategic plan as well as their
