What are NSDI CAP Grants?

• Assist in implementing the components of the
  NSDI.
• Open to State, local and Tribal governments,
  academia, commercial, and non-profit
  organizations.
• Provides small seed grants.
• Emphasize partnerships, collaboration and the
  leveraging of geospatial resources in achieving
  its goals.

• Supported Activities include
• Standards implementation
• Participation in the Clearinghouse and Geospatial
  One-Stop Portal programs
• Implementing Open Standards
• Demonstrating the value of geospatial approaches
  to the business processes
• Establishing participation in The National Map
• Building organizational collaboration and
  cooperation among organizations
