Performance figures 12 mm AISI 304 at 300
mm/minute 8 mm C-Mn steel at 500 mm/min 6 mm
duplex stainless steel at 500 mm/min 3 mm
ferritic stainless steel at 1000 mm/minute
Note The process is not recommended for
material less than 3mm thick, or for highly
conductive materials such as copper and aluminium
alloys.

Applications include heavy transport (eg railway
wagon construction), spiral and seem welded pipe
manufacture and the welding of plate and
rotatable pipe products up to 12 mm in thickness.
