Early Life

• Luis de Moscoso was born in Badajaz, Spain.
• His parents were Alonse Hernandez Diosdado
  Mosquera de Moscoso and Isabel de Alvarado

Early career

• He joined is famous uncle in New Spain
• He made asscociated with Soto
• After he squandered in riotous living the riches
  he had in Peru
• He was ready to undertake a new conquest with
  the prospect of restoring his wealth

Soto and Luis

• they commanded one of the sevens ships to sail
  from their fort to Florida Cuba
• June 5, 1542 they left Sotos burial place on
  the Mississippi and marched westward, hoping to
  reach New Spain

Death

• after going through Louisiana, Texas, Matagorda,
  Arkansas
• he died a year later
• Peru in 1561
