• Nabal was foolish Abigail was wise
• He was evil she was good
• He was gruff she was attractive
• He was arrogant she was humble
• He was ungodly she was godly
• He was antagonistic she was peacemaking

• Greed is very dangerous.

Decision 2To help or not to help David

• Greed is very dangerous.
• Whatever you do when conflicts arise, be wise.
• Maintain a Godly perspective and try to avoid a
  fleshly one
• Look at the whole picture
• Dont jump to conclusions
• Weigh the differences
• Persevere
• Pray for wisdom

Perseverance must finish its work so that you may
be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God,
who gives generously to all without finding
fault, and it will be given to him.

When Abigail went to Nabal, he was in the house
holding a banquet like that of a king. He was in
high spirits and very drunk. So she told him
nothing until daybreak.

Praise be to the LORD, who has upheld my cause
against Nabal for treating me with contempt. He
has kept his servant from doing wrong and has
brought Nabal's wrongdoing down on his own head.
