What additional topics should be included
  • how to use rational rose
  • how to use rose/uml as message modelling tools
  • more student exercises, hands-on
  • real world implementations, CCOW
  • more vocabulary, messaging wrapper classes,
    messaging in practise, conformance claims
  • more emphasis on using HL7, details of modelling
    could be reduced
  • demo of sending and receiving a message between
    applications
  • implementation case of a real project
  • more examples

What additional handsout would you find usefull
  • summaries
  • printed terminology at first, all terms got mixed
    up, tutorials to the tools
  • prematerial about prerequisites, so one could
    familiarize before
  • material was good and sufficient
  • a HL7 quick guide or introduction booklet
  • reference cards for the key concepts, the big
    picture would help to put things in context

should be included
  • how to use tools,whole chain from design to
    implementation
  • real world example how to use tools to build real
    messages that really work
  • more examples of actual live implementations
    maybe
  • simple project, how to start utilising v3
  • practical approach for vendors
  • building a bridge to v2.x a bit wider. An
    addition of 4th day to build a project with v3
    tools
  • current status of the standards, methods etc, a
    brief glance on other standards like CCOW
  • concrete project as an example during whole
    course
  • maybe in other workshop we cpould bring some
    messages from real world. Whole v3 process with
    few examples
  • pragmatic issues, message definition and tooling

Other additional comments.
  • use UML
  • one simple use case that will be presented in all
    cases, more microphones
  • try to put all possible tooling operational in
    the web
  • highlight the key points more clearly, try to
    speak clearly because audience is not native
    speaking english
  • it would be nice if exercise would be constructed
    as a single big "project"
  • take away prints after each presentation as
    summaries
  • separate the MDF and use of tools, real world
    cases. Maybe in 4-6 person groups with tutors
  • as a conclusion You did a good work, Thank You ,
    a lot
