• Its a well-known fact that pregnancy and
  breastfeeding can affect the shape, size, and the
  look of your breasts.  And so naturally, women
  who have breast implants and are going through a
  pregnancy, or are planning on becoming pregnant,
  wonder whether having breast implants will
  somehow affect their pregnancy, or will cause any
  negative symptoms, like impeding their ability to
  breastfeed

• How Does Pregnancy Affect Breast Implants?
• During pregnancy, the breast tissues will grow
  and change due to the rising progesterone and
  estrogen levels. These changes dont usually
  affect the implants because the implants are
  designed to be resilient and resistant to
  deflating, ruptures, or leakages. So, the
  pressure caused by the growing breast tissues
  will not result in the implants rupturing or
  changing shape.
• However, it should be noted that the change in
  breast tissues along with natural weight gain
  during pregnancy can sometimes weaken the breast
  tissue. This is because when the breasts expand
  during pregnancy, and so after they contract they
  leave excess skin which results in sagging.
  Though the chances of this happening are very low
  and hardly ever occur.

• Should You Wait Some Time After Getting Implants
  to Get Pregnant?
• Ideally, the answer to this question is yes.
  Usually, it is best for an individual to fully
  heal from the surgery before getting pregnant.
  This means that one should wait for 6 to 8 weeks
  after being fully healed from the surgery to get
  pregnant. This will ensure that the surgery will
  not interfere with the pregnancy.
• However, if you get pregnant soon after getting
  breast implants, then you should let your
  cosmetic surgeon and obstetrician know. By doing
  so, you will ensure that you will be properly
  monitored by your doctors and avoid the
  development of any complications in your
  pregnancy.

• Can I Breastfeed After Getting Breast Implants?
• Yes, women can breastfeed after getting breast
  implants. There are only a few possible
  exceptions to this rule. If the breast
  augmentation surgery was not done properly and
  there was some problem in placing the breast
  implants either under the breast tissue or under
  the chest muscles, then it can become problematic
  for the woman to breastfeed.
• Here are a few errors which can cause your breast
  augmentations to become a hindrance to your
  breastfeeding
• If the incision was made across the areola or
  nipples and during the surgery, and the milk
  ducts were snipped
•       If the implants are right under the
  glandular tissue and on top of the chest muscle
•       If breasts were never developed properly
•       If breasts were tuberous in shape
•       If breasts were asymmetrical
•       If breasts were spaced far apart
• In some cases, the woman might lose sensation in
  some parts of her breasts or nipples. In these
  cases, it might be difficult for the woman to
  nurse properly. This usually happens when the
  nerves around the nipples get damaged during
  surgery.

• Is It Safe to Breastfeed, Even If You Can Do It?
• Studies have found no reports of any health
  concerns in the babies of parents who
  have silicone breast implants. However, it should
  be noted that research in this area is still
  limited. But there is still no evidence of an
  increased risk of birth complications in babies
  born to parents with breast implants.
• Will There Be Excess Sagging Postpartum?
• There can be some sagging postpartum, but it
  wont be due to the breast implants. Due to
  natural hormonal changes, the breasts might grow
  and change during pregnancy and the month
  following pregnancy.
• During breast enlargement, the skin surface area
  would also grow and sagging can occur because of
  the excess skin that remains right after the
  postpartum period is over. However, with time,
  the breasts will reduce and will move closer to
  the pre-pregnancy size.
• In addition to this, skin and breast tissue can
  become less firm after pregnancy. But you should
  note that even after all these changes, there
  should be minimal to no changes in the breast
  implant. Some factors that can affect your
  breasts during postpartum are
•       Pregnancy weight gain
•       Genetics
•       Length of breastfeeding
•       Number of pregnancies

• Is It Better to Wait Until After You Have Had
  Kids to Get Implants?
• The answer to this question is purely
  preferential. Unless you are actively trying to
  get pregnant right now, in which case it is
  advised that you should wait, else you can get
  implants whenever you want.
• The decision about whether to get implants and
  when to get them is a very personal decision
  since everyone has different health histories,
  goals, and priorities in life.

  implants before having children, or you can get
  breast implants after having children. You should
  make this decision according to your requirements
  and comfort.
