•  Lchang Nang Retreat is an eco-luxurious resort
  hotel in Nubra valley. It is the best place to
  stay in Nubra valley with the combination of
  comfort simplicity. It has various cottage-like
  Nomad King, Tranquil Family Cottage, and one with
  our environment.

• The Lchang Nang concept is based in respect for
  the past, with an eye to the future. The kiss of
  Ladakhi culture can be seen throughout the
  architecture, techniques for maintaining the
  grounds, as well as the cuisine. The family also
  owns and operates apricot orchards, offering
  homemade products to guests who are looking for
  authentic souvenirs from the area (apricot jam,
  apricot oil, roasted barley, and an expanding
  line of other products).

THE TREASURESOF LADAKH

• Nubra once lay along the famous Silk Route. The
  merchants and their winding caravanserais, loaded
  with exotic bolts of silk, are long gone. Still
  gracing the land however, are ancient monasteries
  and fertile villages with handsome homes, set
  amidst groves of poplars and fields of barley,
  scattered along riverbeds where a handful of
  Bactrian camels graze. Orchards of apple and
  apricot trees dot the landscape. This timeless
  valley offers several opportunities for hiking to
  pristine lakes and feasting on stunning views.

ACCOMMODATION
Cocooned in snug Himalayan silences, sleep comes
blissful here. 17 individual cottages, created in
the local architectural style using mud, stone
and poplar, are accessed through a footpath. Each
cottage connects to a private garden and sit-out.
White distressed walls and black oxide floors
offer a soothing contrast to the wooden ceiling.
Contemporary furniture features quiet elegance,
complemented by handpicked rugs and soft
furnishings, inducing the weary traveller to
relax and give in to restful contemplation. Beds,
those all-important temples of healing, are made
up with fine brushed cotton sheets, luxurious
quilts and deep pillows. Yawn!

• LUXURY COTTAGES

• NOMAD KING Freestanding double-occupancy rooms
  with a King-sized bed and sun-bed. Our
  comfortable cottages offer a wonderful view of
  the snow capped Himalayas. A garden door takes
  you from your door step to a private terrace
  under the shade of willow trees. The perfect spot
  to unwind, take in the view, and let the local
  birds lull you to contented bliss.
• TRANQUIL FAMILY COTTAGE Two interconnected
  cottages (separated by double doors), each with a
  King-sized bed that can be separated into twin
  beds, with the option to add a third bed.
