Symptoms of Breast cancer

• Swelling around the part of the breast
• Change in the size or the shape of the breast.
• flaky skin around the nipple area or the breast.
• A lump in the breast or around the armpit.
• Slight Pain in the area of the breast.

Stages of Breast Cancer

• Stage 1 Tumour is small and has not grown
  outside the organ
• Stage2 Tumour is larger than the stage 1 but has
  not spread.
• Stage3 Tumour is large and has spread to nearby
  tissues
• Stage4 Tumour has spread through the blood or
  lymphatic system to a distant site in the body.

Treatment of Breast Cancer

• Treatment mainly depends on the stage of the
  cancer. There are 4 major types of treatments.
• 1- Lumpectomy Tumor is removed
• 2- Chemotherapy Kill cancer cells using
  anti-cancer drugs
• 3- Mastectomy One or both the breast tissues are
  removed including the lump
• 4- Radiation Uses beams of intense energy to
  kill cancer cells

Cost and Duration of the treatment

• The cost mainly based on the stage at diagnosis 
• The estimated average cost is around 5 to 6 lakhs
  
• In early-stage of breast cancer treatment can be
  from three to six months
•  In advanced breast cancer treatment may continue
  beyond six months
