Cortisol, our most powerful stress hormone, is
responsible for telling our body how to react in
times of stress. 1 .Get the Right Amount of Sleep
The timing of sleep, length and quality of sleep
all influence cortisol which increases in people
who sleep during the day rather than at night.
Over time, sleep deprivation causes increased
levels. Rotational shifts also disrupt normal
daily hormonal patterns and other problems
associated with high cortisol. 2.Exercise, but

Exercise can increase or decrease cortisol.
Intense exercise increases cortisol shortly after
exercise. Running hard without enough rest can
