Holidays do us the world of good, giving us a
break from routine, a chance to unwind, and the
opportunity to meet new people, make friends and
broaden our horizons. Hands Up Holidays also
strengthen family bonds. If your circumstances
allow, consider helping less fortunate children
and families take a holiday or break. Hands Up
Holidays offers regularly to the Charity Holidays
Association, which each year enables some of the
thousands of families unable to have a holiday
due to difficult circumstances such as poverty,
trauma, disability, bereavement, violence, abuse,
depression and long-term illness to take a
much-needed break. Hands Up Holidays also
supports Chicks children's charity, Chicks is
similarly dependant solely on donations. You can
also volunteer to work with Chicks, including on
its camps.

Holiday Support for Women
We Hands Up Holidays Support low cost breaks for
all women, with or without children, on their
own, or with friends in a safe and friendly
environment. They provide affordable holidays
with a sliding scale for payments according to
income.

Breaks for Seriously ill or Disabled Children
Hands Up Holidays a charity founded more than 35
years ago to help disabled children and adults,
plus carers, take a holiday. Our aims to improve
the quality of life for children and young people
affected by illness, disability or poverty by
providing funding for anything (with a few
exceptions) that will benefit the child, such as
medical equipment, computers, holidays and days
out.

Breaks for One Parent Families
Hands Up Holidays runs multi-activity holidays
for single parent families with children. We are
a self help group. Our Members organise days
out, short breaks and holidays in the UK and
abroad for single parents and those with sole
parenting responsibilities

supporting individuals, organisations and
communities across Kent, Medway, East Sussex and
