Grassroots Grants is a grants scheme funded
by the Office of the Third Sector. It will

grants until December 2010. You can apply for a
grant of up to 5,000. The minimum you can apply
for is 250. The maximum amount that can be
awarded to any community or voluntary group is
5,000. You could received more than one grant
over the life of the programme, as long as the
total received does not exceed 5,000. The
grants are intended to benefit the community so
can be very wide-ranging, including the purchase
of equipment, support for community events,
training and staffing costs, overhead and rent
costs etc. Application for capital items (500
