The Difference with Ambassadorial Scholarships
  • An ambassadorial scholarship is a one-to-two-year
    scholarship for any university abroad where the
    student has not previously lived or studied.
  • Also available as a 3 or 6-month cultural
    scholarship to study languages
  • The scholarship can be used to obtain a primary
    (or bachelors) degree in a specific discipline,
    or can be used by graduate students towards a
    masters degree

The Difference with Ambassadorial Scholarships
  • Rotary Centers scholars have to study in the
    humanitarian field (Ambassadorial scholars can
    study anything they wish, from medicine to music)
  • The Rotary Centers are much more competitive than
    the Ambassadorial scholarship programs (around 60
    students a year go to the Centers, whereas 822
    Ambassadorial scholars went out in the year
    2006-2007)
