    general.

    dictator for life with the intent to rule Rome
    much like a monarchy.

    jobs, gave land to the poor, and granted
    citizenship to those in the provinces.

  • Many Romans believed that Caesar had brought
    order and peace back to Rome.

    wanting to end the Roman Republic.
