This presentation will show the user experience
for new and existing users that choose to select
a Sponsor.

Sponsor Select Elements
  • The user will double opt-in to select a Sponsor.
  • AWS guarantees that each user will visit the
    Sponsors website.
  • The user will see the Sponsors 625 x 433
    interactive ad unit BrandWrap for 48 hours.
  • The Sponsor will get premium position in the
    WeatherBug welcome email.
  • AWS will send a follow up stand alone email on
    behalf of the Sponsor.

Step 1
  • New users and users that are upgrading to get
    the latest version of WeatherBug, will go to
    Weatherbug.com, enter their email address and
    click Go!, then

Step 2
A dialog box will appear with a list of Sponsors
for the user to choose from. The user will enter
their zip code and choose a sponsor, then
Creative Elements Sponsor Name and a maximum of
100 character description including spaces.

Step 3
  • The user will see the Sponsors Promotion
    Page. For this example the user has selected
    OAG. If the user clicks Select a Different
    Sponsor button, they will be able to choose a
    new Sponsor. This is the second opt-in, then

Creative Elements The Sponsor will get a 150x300
JPEG and 500 characters of text, including
spaces, to promote their value proposition.

Step 4
  • The Sponsors web page will load behind the
    WeatherBug, and the WeatherBug will convert to
    the Sponsors BrandWrap. The BrandWrap will
    stay on the WeatherBug for 48 hours, then

creative ad unit with two 468 x 60 clickable

Step 5
  • When the user closes their WeatherBug, the user
    will see the Sponsors Landing Page. This is
    how we guarantee that each user will visit your
    site, then

Creative Elements The Sponsor will need to
provide a Landing page URL, we can use this same
URL for the BrandWrap and welcome email click
through.

The user will receive a Welcome Email within
24 hours, with the Sponsors message and the same
graphic that is on the Step 3 dialog, then
Creative Elements We will use the same 150 x 300
JPEG and 500 characters of text that was used on
step 3. At the Sponsors option, you can provide
unique copy for the email, however it can not
exceed 650characters.

Step 7
  • AWS can send a stand alone email, on behalf of
    the Sponsor, to each user that selected the
    Sponsor.
  • The client will need to provide an HTML and Text
    version of the email.
  • The standard package includes one email per
    user, however we are able to increase the
    frequency.
  • Rates will vary depending on the number of
    emails the Sponsor would like AWS to deliver to
    each user.
  • AWS offers a premium service for offline
    marketers.
