Individual Development Accounts
  • Specialized savings account designed to help
    low-wealth Americans acquire an appreciating
    asset. Accountholders deposit savings in their
    account and that saving is matched by host
    agency.
  • Designed to enable and encourage accountholders
    to save on a regular basis and acquire their
    asset.
  • While accountholders build savings and match,
    they also receive financial education and
    asset-specific training to help prepare them to
    take best advantage of the opportunity at hand.
