Naval Criminal Investigative Services (NCIS) Law
Enforcement Information Exchange (LInX)
Project Project Overview NCIS, in cooperation
with local and federal law enforcement agencies,
is supporting an initiative for agencies to share
criminal records management and investigative
information to impact both officer and public
safety. A project goal is for immediate access
to information that may deter criminal and
terrorist related activities within participating
regions. The program is called the Law
Enforcement Information Exchange (LInX)
system. Partnership Highlights DaProSystems is
honored to play a small role in this essential
project by supporting its client agencies that
elect to participate in the Naval Criminal
Investigative Services Law Enforcement
Information Exchange (LInX) initiative.
DaProSystems Public Safety Systems support an
interface that extracts data for incorporation in
the NCIS LInX database. Systems Integration
services for this project are supported by
Northrop Grumman Mission Systems, a DaProSystems

WebCAT (Web-based Crime Analysis Toolkit)
Project Project Overview DaProSystems, in
cooperation the University of Virginia Department
of Systems Engineering and the University of
Virginia Patent Foundation, has cooperatively
developed and released a full featured,
cost-effective Crime Analysis Software solution
for Public Safety Agencies. This system, which
relies upon industry-standardized models for data
exchange (Global Justice XML GJXML) is
available to all public safety agencies through
DaProSystems licensing agreement. Product

• ACES Regional Data Sharing Initiative Project
• Project Overview
• The ACES Regional Data Sharing Initiative is a
  multi-agency, multi-jurisdictional project
  entering its 4th year of a 4 year project
  timeframe. DaProSystems is proud to have served
  as the Prime Vendor for the duration of this
  project and has worked in conjunction with
  multiple project partners to complete project
  goals.
• Project Highlights
• Under this project, DaProSystems has successfully
  deployed a fully integrated Public Safety System
  solution including Computer Aided Dispatch,
  Records Management, Regional Data Sharing,
  AFIS/Live Scan Interface, State/NCIC Interface
  and Crime Analysis functionality. All hardware
  systems and agency networks were upgraded to
  current standards. Recently, upgrades for FY
  2006-2007 included gang/terrorist data collection
  reporting, warrant bar-coding integration and
  mobile data access with field reporting
  capabilities. Project goals for FY 2007-2008
  include GIS data integration, subscription
  reporting services, hardware infrastructure
  upgrades and increased mobile data capabilities.

• Victim Notification System Project
• Project Overview
• The Commonwealth of Virginia recently instituted
  a statewide, mullti-jurisdictional project for
  providing victim notification of inmate release
  from State and Local correctional facilities.
  This project was piloted by the Virginia
  Sheriffs Association and the Prime Vendor was
  Appriss, Inc. DaProSystems was contracted to
  provide custom interface software for collecting
  Jail Management System information for
  integration with the Appriss VINES (Victim Inmate
  Notification Everyday) System.
• Project Highlights
• Under this project, DaProSystems successfully
  developed and deployed a fully customized Public
  Safety System Interface solution for providing
  inmate data for victim notification purposes.
  The system has been deployed a correctional
  facility locations throughout the Commonwealth.
  Most recently, DaProSystems was awarded an
  additional contract for expanded interface
  development based upon the success of the initial
  project.
