• About NICUniversity
• NICUniversity will provide neonatologists and
  other members of the professional neonatology
  community including physicians (fellows
  residents), pharmacists, nurses, nurse
  practitioners, and respiratory therapists with
  free continuing education (CE) credits, as well
  as cutting edge neonatology research and
  information. NICUniversity will help neonatology
  professionals improve their patient management
  and outcomes through unbiased, balanced
  educational information.

• CME Lecture Series
• A CME slide series consisting of slides, lecture
  notes, and prerecorded audio/video (using
  faculty) will be rolled out on a monthly basis.
  
• Each lecture will provide up to 1 credit hour and
  will contain a list of FAQs with answers.

• The Residents Lecture Series will provide
  residents with expert knowledge to help them
  develop the professional expertise that will
  support a solid clinical practice, based on
  research and data that are relevant to their
  needs. For Program Directors, this series will
  give their residents and fellows a measurable
  education resource without additional faculty
  time or expense. Program directors can view
  their teams educational performance and track

  This series will provide continuing education to
  meet the needs of neonatal nurses at all levels
  and in all roles. The series will include
  presentations on topics of interest to neonatal
  nurses practicing at the bedside or as nurse
  practitioners.
• Potential topics include a pharmacology series,
  neonatal skin care, pain management, infection
  control, nursing care for infants with various
  diagnoses or undergoing various treatments.
• Some topics may link to the resident and fellow
  curriculum and some may stand alone.
