CONLUSIONS AND OUTLOOK
  • Our MM5-CHIMERE system implemented over Italy
    require further development and testing,
    especially regarding the emission inventory
  • More test cases
  • A dedicated campaign? CETEMPS is involved in a
    preliminary project founded by ASI to integrate
    Earth Observations and Air Quality monitoring and
    forecast

dissagregate the EMEP emissions currently
implemented into CHIMERE

  • GEOS-CHEM global CTM developed at Harvard (D.
    J. Jacob)
  • CETEMPS is part of the GEOS-CHEM users
    community
  • Use the operative GEOS-CHEM forecast at 2 x
    2.5 resolution (soon available) as boundary
    condition to CHIMERE
