  • Partners
  • Always stay with your buddy
  • Wear a watch
  • Be on time
  • Wear your hat at all times
  • Wear your name tag at all times

  • Listen to the bus teachers
  • Keep a positive mental attitude

In Case of an Emergency at the Hotel
  • Use chain lock on door.
  • Call for Mr. Kilbane or Mrs. Bielawski
  • Students will be escorted to the nurses
  • Do not open the door for anyone except school
    personnel.

Label Your Valuables
  • Put your name and address on the following
  • Jackets
  • Cameras (address labels work well)
  • Tape players, tapes, CD players, CDs, video games
  • Purses

  • Check luggage at home
  • Make sure your items are acceptable
  • Pack a flashlight

  • No blue jeans, denim skirts,
  • leggings, or shorts
  • Colored denim is acceptable
  • Khakis/Dockers are ideal (light-weight, cool,
    wrinkle free)

  • Bring a jacket (we tour from 630 a.m to 930
    p.m.)
  • Bring an umbrella or rain poncho
  • No hoodies

  • Casual Attire for our Cruise
  • Tennis Shoes or Deck Shoes
  • Khakis or Dress Pants
  • Complimentary Souvenir polo shirt
  • No Skirts or Dresses
  • Bring a jacket

Carry-On Luggage
  • Snacks
  • Reading material, games, puzzles
  • Bring medication in your carry-on
  • If nurse is to administer meds, turn in by Oct.
    10th to Hillside school nurse
  • Bring extra batteries
  • They are difficult to find and are expensive in DC

  • Chips, cookies, candy
  • Carrot sticks, apple wedges, granola bars (highly
    recommended)
  • No pop or juice boxes on the bus
  • Water bottles are allowed on the bus, but limit
    your in-take

Cell Phones
  • Cell phones are permitted
  • They are kept in luggage stowed under the bus.
  • It may only be used in the hotel room.
  • They will be confiscated if found
  • on the bus or on the tours.

  • Parents should know their childs bus
  • There will be an organized parent phone list
  • Phone chains will be initiated in emergency
    situations or delays only

  • Pick up will be outside Hillside Middle School on
    Thursday, Oct. 16th

  • Convoy 2
  • 945-1000pm
  • Please do not park on Educational Park Drive!
