  • Being in class and listening is the only way you
    will learn the material.

Tardy Policy
  • Tardies are unacceptable and will not be excused.
  • Students are to be on time and seated, ready for
    class when tardy bell rings.

What are Excused Absences?
  • Illness
  • Religious holidays when school is notified in
    advance.
  • Recognized cultural observances when the school
    is notified in advance.
  • Funeral or other family emergency.
  • Appointments with health care providers or other
    professionals.

When you are absent
  • GET HOMEWORK FROM YOUR TEACHER(S)!
  • Who? YOU!
  • What? Missed assignments, homework, tests,
    quizzes, etc.
  • Where? In your classes
  • When? On your free time before/after school
    lunch.
  • How? 1. Ask your teacher for missed assignments,
    tests, quizzes or other make-up work.
  • 2.Attend tutoring or ask College Coach for help
  • 3. Turn in make-up work.
  • Why? YOU are responsible for your own education -
    To be college-ready!
