Final Objectives for the USM-FGR

• Mobility of advanced and PhD students
• Establishment of multi-university DEA
• The French part of the Network aims at founding a
  multi-university DEA, inside a specific
  transversal branch of learning  Ecole
  doctorale  (timing 2 years).
• Establishment of a bilateral  Ecole Doctorale 
• French-German school opened to Russian students,
• and at the end, a fully trilateral school.
• Emergence of international research Institutes
  and university incubators.

Main objectives linked to ICT

• Development of the pedagogical material
• Progressive focusing of lectures aids done by
  teachers of the Network,
• constitution of the library components,
• constitution of a Grey library,
• Web access to other lecture aids like computer
  lectures of HPC distributed by the national
  centers (IDRIS, CINES).

Main objectives linked to ICT

• Placing the pedagogical material for disposal on
  the Web
• pedagogy link for the HPC lectures given by the
  national centers.
• Web links for local technical notes and user
  guides on software and hardware placed for the
  network members disposal, also specialized
  meeting reports . Announcement and diffusion of
  HPC seminars through the Mbone.
• Equipment for each partner with professional
  videoconference material e.g. Pentium3 bi-pro,
  512Mo RAM, Video card compatible with Mbone
  standards, camera, micro, video-projector, (cost
  100KFF)
• acquire of all necessary software (chosen by the
  System and network engineer group ).
