Project Objectives

• Link the Network for Earthquake Engineering
  Simulation (NEES) Real-time Data Viewer (RDV) to
  a PC for monitoring
• Allow tests to be viewed through the Internet
• Data could then be gathered from different
  testing facilities and broadcasted simultaneously
  in sychronization

• Week 1-2 Visit NCHC in Hsinchu, Taiwan
• Week 3 Join meetings and discussion at NCREE
  on research project
• Week 4-8 Work with NEES RDV, PISA3D, VISA
  3D, and GISA3D Structural Analysis
  Programs
• Week 9 Finalize and prepare final
  presentation

Current Progress

• Setup Java JDK and JRE PISA3D, VISA 3D, and
  GISA3D Analysis Programs
• Familiarize with the user interface of the
  programs
• Read the user manuals to understand the features
  of each program
