Title: MAC vs' PC

1
MAC vs. PC
  • Cost and Advantages
  • These versions of each computer are the utmost
standard without many bells and whistles, but you
can get an idea of the price difference and what
each computer offers. My main objective is the
hardware of each computer so I will go into
further detail to aid in making the right
    selection for you.

2

What To Look For
  • The most important piece of hardware you need to
look at is the microprocessor. The
microprocessor is the part of the computer system
that processes instructions. It makes the
computer do what you want it to do. In any case
if you have many projects that would require a
more powerful processor, you can upgrade your
computer system to best fit you.

5
Software Utility
  • In locating projects and software the Microsoft
Personal Computer uses a software utility called
my computer. It lists all the folders on your
computer containing software and saved projects.
It does not list any of the contents so if you do
not know what folder a document is in you must
    use the search option.
  • In locating projects and software the Macintosh
uses a software utility called finder. It brings
up the contents of your computer. You can view
the contents within each category (like a folder
with PC) without clicking on it (the contents
show up to the right) and if you still need
assistance, you can type in the name of any
software or saved project and the finder will
easily locate it for you, no matter where the
location. When using a software utility, the Mac
    is far more user friendly.
