Aaron

• Aaron is a 13 year old boy from Australia.
  Aarons parents Jean and Peter have split up so
  Aaron went on an adventure to visit his father
  who lives on the Indonesian island of Pepela.
  While in Pepela he encounters many adventures
  including friendship, fear, sickness and hurt. At
  the end of his stay at Pepela there was a
  cyclone. He faced a few other difficulties while
  he was out on the open sea with his new friend
  Husni.

Husni

• Husni is also 13 years old he is Indonesian and
  lives on the island of Pepela. Husni speaks
  Indonesian and a bit of English. Husnis dad died
  while he was out fishing in Roti so now Husni has
  to fish for his dad. Husni likes soccer and
  whenever someone scores they go Allez Allez.
  Husni was caught out at sea while doing his
  fathers fishing job. Husni also got caught in the
  cyclone and other difficulties.

SIMILIARITIES

• They both love soccer.
• They both dont see their dads much.
• They are both 13 year olds.

Differences

• Husni lives in a poorer community than Aaron
• They come from different cultures
• Aaron has a lot more resources than Husni.

Is it important to have similarities and
difference with friends in real life?

• Yes so then you can have more fun if you liked
  the same things it would be a bit boring. It also
  gives you a chance to see different things and
  have fun with new things.
