  • Entry level inspectors are required to complete
    23 weeks of training at the Mine Health and
    Safety Academy

    the job field training incorporated between the

  • Shaft and Slope Sinking Inspection

INSPECTOR TRAINING SPECIALISTS
  • In addition to the required journeyman training
    specialists receive additional annual training in
    their area of expertise
  • Electrical specialists attend annual training to
    maintain their electrical certification
  • Ventilation, Roof Control, Impoundment, Accident
    Investigation and Special Investigators receive
    one to two weeks additional training annually
