EDI Testing

• Issues
• Start of End to End testing was delayed one week
• ERCOT received test transactions from CRs
  starting on 4/2 (originally scheduled to receive
  them on 3/26 )
• As of 4/12, ERCOT systems have been unable to
  send all required responses
• Action Plan
• Parties have agreed to implement some
  contingencies to make up the time
• ERCOT continues to work with all parties on
  additional contingency measures to enable
  switches by 5/31

  connectivity test on the operational system

  subsequent weeks of the mock market

  weeks of mock market to complete qualification

Market Operations Interface (Portal)

• Issues
• The ERCOT portal has experienced various problems
  which has not allowed proper qualification
  testing on the portal
• 8 QSEs will use portal only during mock market
  and beginning of pilot (none will represent
  generation)
• Action Plan
• Functional qualification will be performed in
  parallel with subsequent weeks of mock market
• ERCOT is working with vendor on system fixes
  identified during the mock market test

Real Time Communications (ICCP/RTU)

• Issues
• Completed technical testing of RTU with 8 out of
  18 QSEs
• Resource specific testing will require data
  submission from all generation units for each QSE
  (start 4/16/01)
• Data from many generation units in network model
  is missing as QSEs finalize relationships with
  resource owners who need to submit data forms
• Action Plan
• ERCOT is working with resource owners to expedite
  submission of data forms
